CU Cleantech Biz Plan Finals Demonstrates Region’s Leadership
Although the New Venture Challenge (NVC) — CU’s cross-campus business plan competition — took place last week, one of the larger tracks that feed in to the NVC finals is the Cleantech Track. Part of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Clean Energy Business Plan Competition, CU is one of six major universities to host a regional competition as part of the DOE technology commercialization program.
Organized by Trent Yang, the Director of CU Cleantech, and board director for the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association and the regional chapter of the Clean Economy Network, the event promises not only a first look at the next great companies to emerge from CU, but also a bona fide opportunity to connect with leading investors from Boulder as well as Venture Capital firms from Colorado and California.
Look for the HUB Boulder table at the event — we’ll be there supporting these entrepreneurs and sharing the word about all the important entrepreneurial work being done for positive impact in Colorado.
